P•CALP / ROMA Venus driving biga to right, being crowned by Victory flying to left above; on the flank of the nearer horse, a star. Babelon (Calpurnia) 2. Crawford 247/1. RBW 1017. Sydenham 468. A beautifully toned piece. Minor old scratch on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
